Maranda Rossi
EARLY CHILDHOOD DEPARTMENT - MUSIc
Maranda Rossi received her bachelor of fine arts degree in Musical Theater from Shenandoah Conservatory at Shenandoah University. Maranda has toured the country and Canada as The Snow Queen ( Elsa) in A Forever Frozen Story, and May in Junie B Jones the musical. Maranda has been seen as Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Sophie in Mamma Mia, Nellie in South Pacific, and many others. Most recently, outside from teaching, Maranda has costumed and worked as the wardrobe supervisor for Cat Kid the Musical off-Broadway, and Dog Man the Musical off-Broadway, caroling professionally around the city, performing improv around the tri-state, and singing in concerts around the city. As a 13 year girl scout, Maranda was childcare and first-aid trained at a young age, so eagerly jumped into babysitting at the age of 13, and continued to consistently care for kids from them on, spanning from babysitting, nannying, volunteering in a big brother big sister program, tutoring special needs students, teaching improv, music directing, choreographing, teaching English as a second language, and teaching music. Maranda is so grateful to be a part of the Diller Quaile community, spreading the joy of music every day.
